BIM project or simple 2D drawings? Stabicad offers you the ability to quickly and effectively design and manage all high- and low-voltage installations. Through the tool Palettes, the MEP engineer has access to electrical elements and design functionality with a single mouse click. Each element contains a standardized symbol and a (generic) 3D display. The elements can be enriched with trade information (specific) and realistic (detailed) display through web services like MEPcontent. While designing, the MEP engineer continuously has smart design features at his disposal, such as: automatic classification of, for example, light lines, "hosted" or free placement of elements, creation of installation kits and changing all data via a double click.
Within Stabicad thousands of articles and families in accordance with local and European standards are available via MEPcontent.
The Stabicad installation overview is a powerful management tool with a summary of all information about electrical elements. Changes can also be monitored in an advanced stage of the project.
Electrical diagrams are drawn automatically by Stabicad and represents all information of your model in one clear overview. Also block schedules or all kinds of reports are available.
Stabicad provides standard integrated calculations for calculating the power, for example, while taking into account simultaneity factors. In addition there’s a connector to Dialux.
There is a growing demand for "smart" building design. Stabicad provides the ability to assign home automation information to the installation design.
